What to do in Cornwall

There is something for everyone and being centrally based in the county you can get to them all easily.

  • The Eden Project – Spend a day at these amazing world famous gardens with their Rainforest and Mediterranean domes. They also have the occasional open air concerts in the evenings!
  • Newquay Zoo – Cornwall’s award winning zoo with over 130 different types of animals.
  • Lost Gardens of Heligan – Wow! Definitely on my hit list….amazing gardens from the past that have been uncovered and found for you to now see and explore. A veritable feast for any historian or garden lover.
  • National Maritime Museum – A fascinating space in a beautiful setting which holds various exhibitions – this year see the history of the Tattoo.
  • The National Trust gardens at Telissick, Lanhydrock, and Trerise.
  • Truro: catch the enterprise boats to Falmouth, St Mawes or Trelissick. See the Cathedral. Visit the Cornwall Museum

We are a family run business. We have been running since 2000 and for recommendations see our review page.

We live adjacent to the cottage which enables us to oversee any maintenance needs and we pride ourselves as being inconspicuous during your stay…can’t say that our dogs will not wish to visit you though if given the chance!
